A lot of hay has been made of Games Workshop changing their logo from their old yellow & red one for a standardised, simpler one as they move away from their older (now retro) game store branding routes to something more corporate friendly - which is fine for them, though I'm someone who feels it's a shame.
But what I feel surely doesn't matter to a company the size of GW.
And someone like me likely won't even register to a company like GW.
So if GW don't want to have a stylised, retro logo, I'll do it.
I made this is Affinity Publisher/Designer - obviously emulating GW's old logo. Recreated some letters using their logo as reference and built some from scratch doing my best to make it fit. It's still a bit rough, but I'm happy with it.
So this is what I'll be using for this site, social media and any products I make and release.
Until GW send me a cease & desist.
