At Salute 2023 I picked up this Imperial Captain model from Black Scorpion Miniatures.
I had envisioned her as an major NPC in my next D&D campaign nearly a full year before I even finished the last one. Now, with that 4+ year campaign done (and perhaps I'll write about it someday) I looked forward to what came next. She became known as 'Big Hat Lady' in the campaign group chat.
The official paint job for this model was... a little plain for my liking. I loved the bright, colourful regalia worn by landsknecht and wanted to have reflected in the model.
A little Google image searching later and I found a visual reference I loved.

I think I did an okay job.
With the model done, I felt ready to flesh out the character a little more, giving her a name and such.
An thus Constable Cappello was born.
